My experience in Madrid Fashion Week

Yesterday the 58th edition of the Madrid Fashion week was concluded. In the next posts I will analyze collection by collection the designs and trends the most influential Spanish designers propose, but I would like to start by telling you my personal experience as an attender, as it was my first time and I really enjoyed it in company of my dear friend Maca Limones of A bit of lemon.

My look for Fashion Week Madrid

As usual, Madrid Fashion week took place in IFEMA, a multipurpose space in the outskirts of Madrid, where there were stands of the most read fashion magazines in Spain (Glamour, Vogue, Hola, Yo Dona, Telva), screens to watch the shows, new designers, etc. besides of two runways, the Mercedes-Benz and the Bertha Benz where the shows were run. Thousands of street style photographers, coolhunters and fashionists with inspiring looks invaded the room.

I went on Sunday and Monday, and on those days I had the pleasure to attend the shows of Etxeberría, Rabaneda, Juan Vidal, Martin Lamothe, María Escoté (with who I could chat for 5 minutes) and Carlso Díez. I also attended the delivery of the L'oreal awards presented by Spanish model Judith Mascó to the best model (Alla Kostromichova) and best collection (Juan Vidal's). I will tell every detail about the shows in next posts!

After thousands of photos, presents and a nude manicure, I met one of the greatest male models: the american-german Sebastian Sauvé, who did among other works, a sailor for Gaultier and I couldn't help but notice him in the show, he is really gorgeus and kind.

And to say good bye to Fashion Week till February, A bit of lemon and me went to the party in the kissing room of Dolores Cortés and Montse Bassons, whose collections I watched from a different and really interesting  point of view: the backstage.
